What any person needs, in order to make decisions

To make decisions effectively, any decision-maker needs:

  • empowerment

  • knowledge to decide

  • data to decide

  • trust that they won’t be hauled over the coals after a decision has been made that someone higher up disagreed with

Owners get all this by dint of their position. Members of the team need to be actively given these privileges, for them to succeed in making the decisions.
